iPGCE vs PGCE with iQTS

Similar names, different outcomes. What each qualification actually gives you.

An iPGCE is an academic postgraduate teaching qualification. It is well respected by international schools but does not on its own give QTS.

A PGCE with iQTS combines the academic PGCE with International Qualified Teacher Status, giving professional recognition for England as well.

Which should I choose? If QTS matters for your future plans, for example returning to the UK or applying to schools that require it, the PGCE with iQTS is usually the stronger route. If you mainly want a formal teaching qualification for international schools, an iPGCE may be enough.
