Can I gain QTS while teaching internationally?
Yes. Here are the main routes available without relocating to England.
There are several ways to gain qualified status for England while working abroad: iQTS, PGCE with iQTS, and in some cases Assessment Only QTS. Each has different eligibility criteria, costs and timelines.
Start by asking: how much teaching experience do I have, and do I have a stable school placement? Then compare routes in the free Teacher Pathways app.
